GEOFF ALLISTER, BSc CEng, FICE, FCIHT – President CIHT
Geoff is the Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Roads Service with overall responsibility for the management, maintenance and development of 25,000km of public roads.
He has over 30 years experience in Roads Service and served as a Director of the organisation between 2000 and 2007.
Geoff leads the Agency in delivering on its Programme for Government obligations and the Minister for Regional Development’s annual performance targets. Current major challenges include delivering a large strategic roads programme and restructuring the Agency to meet budgetary constraints.
Geoff is the President of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and a former President of CSS, the County Surveyors’ Society (now ADEPT).
