Government Lead on Sustainability, BT

Since joining BT's Public Sector Practice Leadership Team in 2008, David has been working as the Client Industry Executive on the Defra Network account.  He also has cross-sector responsibility for sustainability within BT's public sector business, covering customer engagements within Health, Devolved, Central, Local and Defence marketplaces.

Prior to joining BT, David spent 10 years working as a public sector management consultant, specialising in designing and supporting implementation strategies for change programmes in central government departments.  His clients include Cabinet Office, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Home Office, Department of Health, Department of Communities and Local Government, Prime Minister's Delivery Unit, Department of Work & Pensions, Criminal Records Bureau, Immigration and Nationality Department, and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.  His previous employers include PA Consulting, HEDRA and Serco.

David is a certified member of the Institute of Management Consultancy, has an MSc in International Business, and is PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes qualified.  He also sits on the Government Group Management Committee at Intellect, and is a member of their Public Sector Council's Greening Government ICT group.
