Business Development Manager, Petroplus Bitumen
Gareth's career in the oil industry spans 30 years across many countries from North Sea exploration with Shell in 1977 to Refining & Marketing today for Petroplus, Europe's largest independent oil refiner and the largest bitumen manufacturer. Prior to Petroplus, Gareth worked for 20 years in BP's bitumen business as UK Sales Manager and then as a Global Business Development Manager.
Gareth is a Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation and a former East Midlands Chairman of the Institute of Asphalt Technology. He is a media representative for the Asphalt Industry Alliance and is an Executive Member of Constructing Excellence Infrastructure Forum Working Group 3 - Supply Chain Integration & Collaboration.
